Protocol for Parents to Resolve Issues Dealing with TCE

                                                                                                                               Updated 11/22/19

Dear Parents,

I appreciate all of the help and support you have given the TCE faculty and staff this year, along with your cooperative attitude in allowing us to provide your children the best possible education.  The TCE faculty and staff spend countless hours working late and at home to make our school a safe and nurturing learning environment.

However, with 350+ students, issues will present themselves throughout the year.  As much as I would like to meet with every single one of you, it is important for the betterment of our school that I get into classrooms more in order to advise and monitor student learning to maximize their growth and achievement.  We want your children to be educated in the best possible way.  TCE teachers are working hard to teach in ways that motivate and inspire students to become independent learners that consistently do their best.

Therefore, I am informing all parents of the new protocol we are enforcing here at TCE which will allow us to do what is necessary to accomplish this.

When an issue arises:

·        First, call and schedule a conference with your child’s teacher.

·        Leave your name and number with Mrs. Brenda, and my teachers will contact you at a convenient time such as their planning time or after school.

·        Next, come at the designated time for your conference with the requested teacher.

If the issue is not able to be resolved between you and the teacher, you can ask to schedule a conference with me.  Call Mrs. Brenda Shrum to leave your name and number, and I will return your call as promptly as possible.

Thank you very much for your understanding in this matter.

Mr. Paul Conry, Principal of TCE
